I think that my nephews are the cutest things on the planet and have decided to share these pictures with the rest of the world. Although they are going to be mortified by this one day, they are classic. And, after all, Beebs does love being "nakey" more than anything else in life, which makes these pretty darn appropriate!

Stacy Suzanne

Happy Birthday to my dear friend!! I remember the first time I saw you at cheerleading try-outs before our freshman year of high school. I couldn't figure out why somebody's little sister was there trying out. :) (For those of you who didn't know Stacy at this point, she was about 2 feet tall and weighed all of 4 pounds.) What I didn't know was that we would have a friendship that would begin that week and would be cultivated to last a lifetime. I am so thankful for you!! We have had many great times. I'll never forget classes with you, yelling at Pegi because she was fat, going to BK every tuesday morning Jr. year and eating in your mom's room, sleepovers at your dad's, riding everywhere in Big B, getting pulled over for doing like 12 things wrong, running out of gas and having to push your car up the hill by school, MEXICO and the cucumbers, almost dying with Erica, cheering (why were we of all people cheerleaders for FOUR years??!!), going to the beach, you "helping" me on my tests in Mr. Suter's class and so much more! I'll never forget when you told me you were engaged and I screamed from downtown Gresham to my parent's house! You were so beautiful on your wedding day--thanks for letting me be a part of that. You are an amazing mother and wife; both Jason and Piper are so lucky. I love that you are just as crazy as me. Thanks for understanding my love of sharpies, only being able to write with a blue pen and hatred towards odd numbers! Thank you for being a friend no matter what. Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulder--especially when I call you in the middle of a breakdown and invite myself over...I don't know what my life would be like without you as my best friend. I do know that you make my life richer for being in it. I hope that turning 26 is fabulous and not as scary as I think it's going to be...(When did we get this old?!) I love you!!!!

Campaigning for Christ

This last weekend I went to Wildhorse Canyon for a Young Life camp. We have a Bible Study every Sunday night for the kids who are believers called Campaigners. This particular weekend it was a camp for Campaigner kids from all over the state. We only had two kids attend, but it was an amazing time. Our speaker had great things to say. He spent a lot of time going over Ephesians 1 and was great at encouraging kids to stretch themselves and take risks in regards to sharing their faith. One thing he said was "If you don't take risks, you don't have a story to tell." I was really taken by this statement. I think about all the times in my life when God has asked me to do something and I was too scared to, so I didn't. The only story I can tell in those situations is that I was too scared to do what God wanted me to. Not the best story... Another thing I took away from the camp was that God doesn't call us to be pansies, he calls us to be great. I think that so many Christians are floating through life and never live up to their full potential. As his children, we are all destined for greatness. We also had different sessions that we could attend. We all went to a seminar on how to be a Godly woman and that was really good. It was so good to talk to the girls and hear their ideas for getting more kids to come to Young Life and how to be lights in their school. It was so great to sit and pray with them and see their hearts. And it snowed! As much as I hate the snow, even I had to admit it was pretty...It was a wonderful weekend and I am so glad that I was able to be a part of it!
