I SO heart New York!!
I had this last week off from work and so my roommate Emily and I decided to make a trip to New York City. I had never been and Em had been a couple of times, but never longer than a day or two. We had the BEST time!! I was able to spend my 26th birthday there as well, which was amazing. We saw all the major sites, mostly in one day which was interesting! We walked so much that I honestly was considering a leg transplant. We saw Grease and Phantom of the Opera, went to a comedy club, hung out in Central Park, visited NYU, went to Chinatown and bought knock-off bags and jewelry, ate at hot dog vendors, made friends at Carnegie deli, stood outside of the Today Show and did lots of shopping at H&M. Seriously fun times!!! :) Here are a couple of pictures from our trip-enjoy!

Party like it's 1999...Literally!
Last weekend I chaperoned Prom for the school that I do Young Life with. A group of us went to dinner and then to the second half of the dance. We had a good time despite dress fiascos, bad traffic, a switch of restaurants, and lots of stress on my part! It was fun being back in the Tiffany Center, which was where my Proms were held as well. (Eight and nine years ago...Man I'm old!) It's crazy to think how much money, anticipation, time, stress and pressure go into that one three hour night! But it was fun to see our kids all dolled up and having a great time. :) Here's a couple of pictures from that night.
